Section 1. Inviolability
Every person possesses inherent and inviolable authority over their own body. No person’s body may be claimed, controlled, used, or governed by any other person, institution, or authority.
Section 2. Freedom from Compulsion
No law, policy, or practice shall compel a person to use, risk, alter, sacrifice, or surrender their body, health, biological function, or bodily labor for the benefit of the state, an institution, an artificial entity, or another person.
Section 3. Health and Medical Autonomy
All persons retain the right to make decisions concerning their own health, medical care, reproduction, and bodily integrity. No authority may impose medical procedures, deny or delay medically necessary care, or condition access to care upon compliance, status, belief, or economic capacity.
Section 4. Reproductive Autonomy
Decisions regarding reproduction, pregnancy, childbirth, and parenthood reside solely with the person whose body is directly affected. No external authority may override, transfer, or subordinate this decision-making power.
Section 5. Prohibition of Bodily Instrumentalization
No person shall be treated as an instrument, resource, vessel, or means to an end. Bodily autonomy shall not be overridden by claims of necessity, morality, productivity, population, or continuity.
Section 6. Equal Application
The protections of this Article apply equally and without exception. No interpretation shall elevate abstract interests, institutional objectives, or potential entities above the bodily autonomy of existing persons.
Section 7. Enforcement
Violations of bodily self-autonomy constitute violations of fundamental rights and shall be subject to immediate judicial remedy, without requirement of exhaustion, delay, or deference.
Section 8. Non-Derogation
The rights secured by this Article shall not be suspended, limited, or reinterpreted under any circumstance except through amendment by the people.
No person’s bodily autonomy shall be infringed for purposes of punishment, deterrence, moral conformity, economic efficiency, or social control.
